I have been a crafter and entrepreneur for quite some time, but I always felt that something was missing. Though my passion was there, it often dwindled. As I began walking more closely with God, I realized—He was what had been missing all along.
Starting Hartfelt Crochet was my way of inviting Him into every stitch, every design, every moment. This time, I want to focus solely on Him and let Him take care of the rest.
Faith & Creativity Connection
Crocheting brings peace and joy to my body in the same way that God brings peace and joy to my spirit. When my hands move in rhythm with the yarn, I’m reminded that I’m mirroring my Creator—the ultimate Artist—who knit each of us together with intention and love.
My Story: When Crochet Became More Than a Hobby
I first learned how to crochet as a little girl. Over the years, I’ve set my hook down more times than I can count, but somehow I always find my way back.
Younger me didn’t understand the depth of that love. I lacked patience back then. But as I’ve grown older and walked through seasons of life—some joyful, some stretching—I’ve gained clarity, peace, and a closer relationship with God.
With that growth, I’ve come to see that my love for crocheting isn’t just a hobby—it’s a calling. It’s one of the ways God connects my heart and my hands.
Purpose in Handmade Work
Blessing others through my craft has been a dream for a long time. Though I’m still discovering all the ways God wants me to use this gift, one of the biggest blessings I’ve found is in praying over every piece I make.
I pray that each item reaches its new home safely.
